Applied Kinesiology

Uses manual muscle testing to evaluate structural, chemical, and mental aspects of health through the dynamics of the musculoskeletal system. Treatment may involve joint manipulation or mobilization, myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian and pressure points, clinical nutrition, dietary changes, reflex procedures, or evaluating environmental irritants.

Additional techniques & therapies

Diversified Technique
A system of analysis and a precise means of adjusting the skeletal system of the body.
Drop Table
Cushioned drop pieces support each area of the spine. After a slight, quick pressure, the piece gently gives way, reducing the force needed to move a specific segment.
Flexion-Distraction
A specialized table gently stretches the patient in certain directions, along the coronal or sagittal planes or in a rotational pattern.
NET (Neuro Emotional Technique)
Finds and removes neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress. NET is described as a tool that can help improve many behavioral and physical conditions.
Trigger point therapy
Reduces pain from hypersensitive muscles. Trigger points, pea-sized knots deep in the muscle, are found by gently pressing on the skin and feeling the texture of the muscle underneath.
Examination
Frequent, focused orthopedic and neurological exams measure how well each treatment is working and guide changes to your care as you progress.
Therapies & muscle activation
Exercises and other modalities that strengthen weak muscles, re-educate nerve-muscle patterns, and balance the muscles that cross specific joints.
Meridian tapping
Gentle tapping on meridian points, often combined with other techniques as part of your plan.
Client education
Teaching clients and the community helps you maintain and improve your health at home, at work, and between appointments.
